DYNASTS OF LYCIA. Uncertain dynast, circa 500-480 BC. Stater (Silver, 23 mm, 9.74 g). Forepart of a boar to left. Rev. Incuse square with central pellet; linear triangles protruding from all sides; to lower left, pellet upon baitylos (?). Asyut -. Müseler -, cf. II, 1-2 (differing incuse). SNG von Aulock -, cf. 4049-4050 (differing incuse). Very rare. An interesting coin with a very unusual reverse design. Test cut on the obverse and hence with flan cracks on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
